Snake Safety

This session will be about our slithering reptiles and has been designed to educate students about snake safety in a more fun and interactive way. The students will learn to respect and stay away from snakes, as well as what to do when they are bitten by one, especially if it is venomous! Throughout the session there will be safe and fun interactions with a variety of our friendly non-venomous snakes.

During the class students will be taught how to respond and treat a snake bite by pairing up and learning how to wrap each others legs and arms in special snake bite bandages.

By the end of this class students will have learnt how to behave correctly around potentially harmful snakes, and how to respond to a snake bite.
